Brooke Solnik is a fourth year student at York University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Specialized Honours in English. In particular she is pursuing a career in teaching high school students, with English and history as her focus subjects.

Born and raised in Toronto, Brooke attended high school in North York and was very active within her high school community. She held leadership or co-leadership positions in the various after school activities of which she was involved. 

She is also a prospective novelist and in the process of completing her first novel, which can be viewed below:
