From 1999 to 2013 I served as executive director of Architecture for Humanity, which I co-founded with Kate Stohr. During that time I was involved in humanitarian projects in more than 40 countries and responded to a dozen post-disaster programs. We raised over $50M towards projects and completed thousands of structures. In 2006 I was awarded the TED Prize and helped create the Open Architecture Network.
Co-edited and wrote for Design Like You Give A Damn 1 and 2.
