I was born hearing but then when I was 13months old, I became sick with Bacterial Meningitis which infected the fluids inside both of my inner ears. The infection killed off almost all of the tiny hairs within my cochlea which caused a profound hearing loss. God has definitely blessed me and my family, I was able to have a normal childhood, education, and being able to exceed expectations. To God be all the glory!
