A Tennessee-born songster growing up in rural Western Kentucky developed an interest in Rock and Roll at age 5. As a teen in the early 1970's, pursued knowledge of electronics, particularly that relating to music. (guitar amps, synthesizers, sequencers, etc.) Got sidetracked and waylaid by the computing business, bad associations and poor decisions... Back on track at 59 in Chicago looking for where all those cool sounds came from. Networking with musicians, community developers and activists.
