"Quod Sum Eris" reads an epitaph on a Roman tombstone: I Am What You Will Be, and an obvious albeit unpleasant truth. I would like mine to show the inscription "Interrogavi Omnia," meaning I Questioned Everything. As an analyst, I simply see it as the only way to uncover the root causes of any problem --- by definition, also unpleasant --- and more importantly, to its eventual solution. Challenging the status quo starts by realizing that the term "conventional wisdom" began as an oxymoron and remains ever so.
