We all use a little pretense,
We all sit on somebody's fence.
She said no sense,
It made a lot of sense,
I said you talk in absolute nonsense, and then she said
"Well I'm an existentialist you know..."
What is, Am I, We are?
The pause between a comma, the numbers on a scale, the emptiness between the in and out breath, the feeling you get when you know the weather is about to change, the logic in no logic at all, the essence of not being, the colors of feeling, the temperature of reason, the meaning of leaving, the power of succeeding. I am nothing, and in that I've found something.
