I grew up in Philadelphia, South side Chicago, and Hartland, WI. Went to UW Madison (psychology/ anthropology), worked for Bristol Labs as a drug rep in Wausau WI for a couple of years, then went to Ohio State for a PhD in org behavior. Taught at Otterbein College (OH); son Ryan born in Columbus, OH. Son Jack born in Massachusetts; then moved back to the Midwest to Chippewa Falls, WI, then finally to River Falls, WI, in 2000 where I joined the faculty at UWRF.
