I joined the Laboratory for Smartness, Semantics and Security (S3Lab) at the University of Deusto in the year 2007. Nowadays, I am a research associate at this group and my research focuses in the area of semantics, with special emphasis on information retrieval and opinion mining applied to on-line social networks and spam filtering. Besides, I'm a lecturer at University of Deusto's Faculty of Engineering where I'm resposible for the subjects "New perspectives on spam filtering" and "Security in Social Platforms" within the Master's degree in Information Security the Web Engineering subject in San Sebastian's campus.
