Former Teach For America Corps Member, '07, currently seeking Masters in Communication. I'm interested in the impact of health on education for families who are un(der)-insured. Social media technology has the power to revolutionize the way patients and families handle sicknesses, and I (hope to) help us understand how. Current projects: 1) Predicting motivations behind health seeking behaviors 2) Developing a model for the dark-side of online social support groups 3) Volunteering for the College of Education: Upgrading communication system to Web2.0 technology 4) Currently in discussion phase with fellow TFA alumni about creating a communication platform/strategy that connects parents
