I have spent my entire career in the nonprofit world as an author, trainer, public speaker, and a manager. I began my grant writing work in 2010; I've written grant proposals totaling more than $1.14 million for a human services organization that assists more than 900 homeless and low-income women in Washington, DC. I currently provide foundation prospecting assistance to a new program that provides mentoring and professional development support for new clergy. I also get to flex my creativity on desktop publishing projects using InDesign CS6.
