I adore music, except when I don't. My heros are Mike Landau, Steve Lukather, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Miles Davis, Kenny Herrera, my Dad, Harry James, James Gosling, my Uncle Tony, my son Tony, Bruce Eckel, Don Box, Bjarne Stroustrup, and Bill G. I never had a brother, but Joe Aglio, Barry Kaye, and Dan DeVere came as close as you can. Put Brian and Tony Quinn in there too. I don't believe in luck but for some reason, I've always been blessed by having great teachers, starting from my very first day in the world when I met my Dad. There is no substitute.
