I am an Australian writer and teacher, currently living in in Shanghai, China. I encourage higher education. It has allowed me to have many adventures. Some of my favourite memories are: Expo 2010, climbing a volcano in Indonesia; swimming with dolphins in Hawaii; exploring ancient temples in Asia; walking through the underground city in Seattle; and living with Aboriginal people in Australia. I have had my stories published in national newspapers and magazines, worked for a federal senator, and won the Vodafone World of Difference Award for helping homeless people get off the street I like karaoke (though not as good as I'd like to be), photography, writing and travelling.
