MY GEEKY START
I have always loved the way people communicate.
When I was 11 years old, I started studying linguistics (specifically sociolinguistics).
When I was 12, I started studying Spanish and Japanese.
At 13, I knew I wanted to study Linguistics at University, and that is exactly what I did.
LANGUAGE NERD
It’s true. I am obsessed with foreign languages. I used to sit on the sofa as a teenager and translate short texts into languages I didn’t know…. yet. I couldn’t walk past a bookstore without going inside and looking at the Languages section (before the internet, people!). I have spent almost my entire life studying languages from all over the world just for the sheer plea
