I am a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in a variety of national magazines, including O/The Oprah Magazine, Real Simple, Self, Parenting, Woman's Day, and The New York Times. I co-wrote The Essential C-Section Guide (Random House/Broadway) and co-edited Unbuttoned: Women Open Up about the Pleasures, Pains and Politics of Breastfeeding (Harvard Common Press). I am also a graduate student, working on a master's degree in Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.
