Dan Chammas defended an invasion of privacy consumer class action which held that the client placed and recorded hundreds of calls to individuals per day without their consent. Mr. Chammas argued the class could not be certified, as recordings were authorized by state tariffs. Dan Chammas negated the certification of a class in a wage and hour class action which alleged misclassification of supervisors who were exempt. Chammas prevailed in the subsequent jury trial of 16 individuals who pursued claims in court.
