The Role of the Extracellular Matrix in Prostate Cancer Tissue Architecture and Specificity Principal Investigator: Dr. Jeffrey Mayne Roles & Responsibilities: - Mentored and Taught underclassmen aseptic technique and cell culture. - Performed Organ Harvest Surgery on inbred ICR mice. - Managed multiple prostate cancer (LNCaP, C4-2, C4-2B, PC3) and primary prostate gland (murine, bovine, porcine) cell lines. - Designed a de-cellularization protocol for porcine prostate glands. - Created hydrogel scaffold derived from de-cellularized prostate glands, for catheter-deliverable therapies for advanced stage prostate cancer.
