PhD degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering (photonics).
12 years in a reserch and development center joint venture between Pirelli Cables and Systems (then Pirelli Labs) and Politecnico di Milano. During this period started and managed R&D labs. In particular Diffractive and Ultrafast Lab and Optical Technology Lab. The first one devoted to realize novel photonic devices by means of diffractive and ultrafast effects, the second one for novel using industry level clean room micro and nano-fabrication and characterization facilities.
