Education

As an instructional coach and lead teacher, I provide professional development to the entire faculty as well as one-on-one coaching to improve the teacher’s craft in terms of both instruction and curriculum. I help the teachers understand and implement the TEKS, ELPS, Advanced Placement, and other curriculum standards. I work closely with school and district administration to set goals, communicate the needs of the teachers, and implement initiatives. In addition, I am responsible for leading the social studies Professional Learning Community team meetings, creating the agenda, and facilitating the PLC process. As an AP lead teacher, I am responsible for developing curriculum for all soci.
