As an academician, my main responsibility towards my students is to sacrifice my time and effort to understand and acquire useful knowledge and in turn become a conduit to spread my acquired knowledge to my students. The value I offer to my students is my ability to help them acquire knowledge within a shorter time compared to what I had to go through. Acquiring knowledge can be made easier when given illustrations and vivid examples--this is what I hope to bring to my class. It is my belief that knowledge will set us free--a powerful and effective antidote for ignorance.
