Sociology Professor

I took the road less travelled by... I am a screenwriter and sociologist. I received my Master's degree at EMU which led to teaching sociology at two colleges. I absolutely love it. I cannot tell you how many ideas come out of my lectures. Brainstorming while teaching is a great concept! Plus, I hate feeling so secluded in my writing. It's great getting out there and interacting with students. Finally, I am way too neurotic to rely on writing for income...I never know what script will sell and when, it is just too much stress. The best part is I can afford to say no when someone wants to do something crazy with my script...and believe me, it happens! Proud member of the Writer's Gu
