Philosopher, former ultra long distance runner, currently teacher of English (and serious cyclist in the mountains here) in Taichung, Taiwan, not forgetting his roots in Friesland, The Netherlands, missing his old friends more and more, knowing that not keeping in touch was his own mistake, but more than willing to get in contact again, because he's getting older and knows what good friends are for (better late than never), sticking, after all, with his roots and straightforward identity. Married to a Taiwanese lady, two young children.
