I used to be Helen Jane Austin in fact I still am Helen Austin only with a Scherer at the end... I got married in Spain (Tenerife) where women retain their own names. However, this is not the case in Germany and England, my husband's German) so somewhow or other I found myself with Helen Jane Austin Scherer, quite a mouthful.
I live and work in Puerto de la Cruz, I've got two children, Lydia 16 and Hugo 14, one dog - Scruffy - age unknown but about 6, one cat - Fifi who will be 18 in April.
