While I was born in the US, I've also lived in Russia and Australia. I just submitted my PhD thesis at UNSW in Sydney, Australia on the Slavic vampire myth and am slowly writing my first novel. My great loves are acting, writing, and non-profit work, so eventually I'd like to find a career that utilizes at least one of those. Who knows, maybe I'll make a living doing random extra parts like alien number 274 in Space Truckers Go To Hollywood...or edit screenplays...or become a crazy hermit writing my insane gibberish far up in the mountains...on second thought, I think I'll stick with the Space Truckers.
