Chairperson

I am Chair of the International MotherBaby Childbirth Initiative www.imbci.org, a doula, a DONA approved Birth and Postpartum Doula Trainer. In addition, I am a Lamaze International childbirth educator and a Passion for Birth Teacher Trainer. I have been working as a doula and training doulas since 1987 in varied communities and settings around the world. “My work has honored me with designing programs, training and speaking in diverse communities, from South Bronx, NY to the White House, the UN and 26 countries. I provide doula training to nursing, midwifery, and medical students, and provide in-services to nurses, midwives, residents and physicians. I feel it is a privilege and a
