During university David started a digital production company, specialising in the development of mobile apps. The company was responsible for Distress Signal, which is used worldwide by thousands of users - and has been featured in The Sunday Times, National Geographic Traveller, The Guardian, Stuff Magazine and The Next Web - as well as the Apple Blog. The app was also nominated for The Most Innovative App in The Appsters across the UK, as well as The Appys in Ireland 2013.
