I started my job carrier as a field Veterinary officer with the Mandate of offering Veterinary Ambulatory and Extention services. After the 8 years of field experience I decided to further my studies and moved my service from Ministry of Agriculture to College of Agriculture as a lecture and a researcher in the Department of Animal Health & Production where I tough for 4 years. I was appointed the Provost of the College with primary responsibilty of being the administrative and Academic Head. In 2003, i was appointed member Borno State Executive Council and served in the Council for 2 years and later appointed Permanent Secretary with the Borno State Civil Service in 2009.
