مركز شرق أفريقيا للدراسات والإعلام East Africa studies & Media Center East African Studies and Media Centre (EASMEC) is a regional private study centre which is non governmental and non profit seeking centre. Easmec was established in August 8th 2009 by a group of scholars comprising different institutions and universities in Somalia who have the ability of enhancing the region. The establishment of easmec came after long term and continuous assessments made by a team of Easmec who then realized that reliable studies are very in need in the region and then approached to the establishment of Easmec.
