Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE); Instructor/Developer of courses in Meeting, Event, Exhibition, and Convention (MEEC) Management. Being in a geographical area where projected job growth in this field for the next decade is 41%, MTSU needed to capitalize on this opportunity. I researched the area to find a path for our students. I am excited to begin this program as my goal has ALWAYS been to make sure our students have employment opportunities waiting for them at the end of their college career. Why major in something where no jobs exist and none are projected to become available?
