In the early 1990’s, Ellen founded Women.com and grew it into the largest Internet destination for women. After a successful IPO, Women.com merged with iVillage (now owned by NBC). After Women.com, Ellen bought Town & Country Resources, a regional home staffing agency in the Bay Area, which she sold successfully 5 years later in 2008. She went on to lead Marketing at Elance, where she helped businesses grow by hiring online talent. She also co-founded a start-up th.
