Over the course of his career, Dr. Ehsan Bayat has amassed a wide range of accomplishments as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, both in his native Afghanistan and the United States. Following receipt of his B.S. in Engineering Technology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Dr. Bayat went on to a prolific career in the food service industry, during which time he owned and operated restaurant and food supply company Pamir Foods. From there, Dr. Ehsan Bayat turned his attention to the nascent telecommunications industry in Afghanistan, a largely primitive business in the mid 1990s.
