Allie Esslinger is a Southern transplant living in Brooklyn. She began working in entertainment as a joke writer for stand-up comics in New York City. She also wrote for various magazines and blogs, which led first to working on film sets as production and marketing support and eventually to the opening of Olive Juice Films in 2011. OJF gained clients throughout the YouTube original channel boom, leading to series work--development, production services, and content marketing-- across the digital landscape.
