I started in the Federal Reserve System as an economic analyst but moved to Bank Supervision where I was a capital markets analyst. For 12 years I gained experience in complex transactions such as derivatives, structured finance, and complex investments and hedging strategies. I joined Andersen Consulting and worked in a similar capacity for 2 years. In 2001 I started my own firm, Strategic Financial Solutions, an international capital markets consultancy. I split my efforts between client-based consulting at financial institutions and conducting seminars and developing training in capital markets concepts.
