Graduated (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) in Economics and Management of Networks and Innovation from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy), Fabio Ruini has obtained a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Plymouth University (UK) thanks to a studentship funded by the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research. His doctoral thesis focused on distributed control for the collective behaviour of micro-unmanned aerial vehicles (MAVs) engaged in security missions.
