I am a research based PhD student and Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at University of Alberta. My research topic is concentrated in Pharmacy Practice. My primary research interest lies in the roles of health care providers and patients in medication management. Specifically, my research explores the complexity of safe medication management in the health care system when pharmacists are prescribing. Prescribing role is relatively a new paradigm in pharmacy practice in North America. Successful inter-professional (IP) collaboration and communication with pharmacist prescribing requires a clear perception and understanding of each other’s’ role and responsibility. My research goa
