I am a doctoral candidate in my final phase of my school's PhD program. My goal is to complete my dissertation within 2 years and apply for a teaching post at a historically black college/university. I am a retired military officer (twenty three years) and former school teacher with 7 years experience in the Memphis City public school sytem. I have taught college level history since 1998. I am married to the lovely Mrs. Yolanda Jones since 2013.
