I have spent more that 30 years as an adult educator. My entire professional career, teaching adults. I have worked for financial services companies, insurance, retail, non-profits, software and Internet companies over that time. 

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, I served in the USAF in the Republic of South Korea during the Viet Nam war, and at Pease AFB, New Hampshire. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH. 

After college I moved to California. California led me to Oregon where I would live for more than 25 years, working and raising a daughter in the Portland area, leaving in 2003 to accept a job in Maryland. After more than three years
