Originally from Italy but now dividing his career between Rome and Dublin, Francesco Mecorio is an active performer/singer/songwriter who has distinguished himself for his musical sensitivity and his ability to master the lyrics of a song, independently from the genre or the composer, and make it his very own.
Francesco started studying classical piano from 1984 until 1993. In 1994, only 15 years old, he started performing and studying voice. He trained at 鈥淯M 鈥� University of Music鈥� of Rome, where he studied vocal technique and song performance (Annamaria Di Marco) in addition to music theory and jazz harmony (Andrea Avena).
