Francisco Arias Monteseña hails from Majayjay Laguna, born on April 2, same as Balagtas but no connection whatsoever except for the love of words. He writes in Filipino and graduated top of the class in high school. He was a scholar in University of the East Caloocan where he earned his Bachelor degree in Business Administration major in Accounting. He is currently taking his Masters in Mgt in University of Rizal System, Binangonan.
He was a late bloomer in writing until he became a member of Pinoypoets, a group of on-line writers, ( and later on with other groups as Kamakataan, Laboratoryo) who gathered around the cyber world and at times in a meeting to discuss literary mind interests.
