I'm a Ph.D. Nuclear Physicist with a strong background in software computing, which I reached after a 10+ years long research experience at Catania University and CERN. 10+ years experience as a software engineer for server-side C/C++ applications aimed at huge number crunching and data analysis, using scientific analysis frameworks (ROOT, GEANT3, GRID). 8+ year experience of desktop .NET applications for data management (MS SQL Server, MS Access), file processing and media manipulation.
