About
My admiration to the life and work of the late Philippine hero Ninoy Aquino is inexpressible. I guess, it is because I was born a year before his assassination and my parents are politically active then.
My father, an industrious farmer, works as a tailor aside from being a barangay captain for twenty years in his beloved village – Barangay Calingonan of Calbiga Samar. My mother on the other hand is an epitome of industriousness and piousness. Though they are not professional, they manage to raise my six siblings and me very well.
What I remember most during my childhood is my mother’s unique way of motivating the whole family in praying the rosary every night in the living room. My
