I have freelanced in graphics and illustration since the age of 15. I can call myself a competent production manager and art director. My education covers a wide range from print production to advanced computer graphics and art history. I pride myself on craftsmanship and my ability to break down complex systems and explain them to undergraduates.
After leaving the studio arts program at the University of Alaska in 1981, I spent the first part of my career working in radio through the balance of the 80's. I moved on to complete my first degree an ATA in Graphic Arts Production Technology in 1990 and worked in the newspaper/print industry for the next 5 years.
