i was born in japan. when i was two my family moved to the philippines for three years. we went back to japan until i was ten; then we moved to germany and i graduated high school in germany. in 1997 i decided to come to the US to improve my English, in 98 went back to germany and came back again in 99 and transferred my credits to continue my study at NYU. got married the same year, moved to northern va in 2004... i am japanese but i only lived in japan for seven years. people do think i am japanese but i feel like an european at times...identity was always my issue but now i am very confident to say, i am who i am and who cares about what others think. becoming a mother changed my
