Currently, I am the senior copy editor at Smart Business Network, where I am responsible for establishing editorial standards and overseeing copywriting and editorial workflow for 17 national and regional print magazines and website.
Prior to my position at Smart Business, I was the managing editor at The Morning Journal in Lorain for seven years. In addition to my responsibilities for the daily production of the newspaper, I created daily news budgets and made decisions on story placement. I also ran a four-person copy desk while overseeing a 28-person newsroom that included reporters, photographers and editors.
