It have been 28 years (Since 1984), the Sikh Sangat of Shah Alam dreamt putting up their very own Gurdwara Sahib building. Up to now the Sanggat has had to make-do firstly, in the homes of sewadarnis and sewadars and then in a small humble and simple terrace-home set amidst a modest housing estate with part of the housing communitys playing field serving as a Langgar Hall. The State Government has finally approved a piece of land for the new Gurdwara in Section 18 Shah Alam. The necessary permits and approval from the state and local authorities have been obtained.
