Haesul graduated with a first class honours degree from Aston University in 2013 and was awarded the prize of ‘Best Chemical Engineer’ in her cohort. In the past she has been recognised as a ‘Youth Ambassador for Peace’ due to her early contributions in the third sector. She has also participated in leadership training programmes such as Uprising.
Currently she is an Engineering Doctorate candidate working for Loughborough University’s Caterpillar Innovation and Research Centre. Her current focus is to develop a system synthesis methodology called ‘Component-in-the-Loop’, in order to make Caterpillar's product development faster, cheaper and with a lower carbon footprint.
