I develop software used to verify radio performance of base stations for mobile telephony, for in-house customers. Programming is mainly in LabVIEW, with a bit of Python on the side. ClearCase is used for revision control. We work in sprints, delivering each 4th week. Tasks vary sprint by sprint. Lately it has been device drivers for climate chambers, power amplifiers and turn tables, connected over LAN, USB or GPIB. Our software system verifies hardware, and use various instruments to do that. Input and output is a bit of GUI, but mainly file-based. A passion or pet peeve is automated validation of software.
