Until March 2014 he was Director of Quality Assurance and Cyber Security for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online. He joined The Walt Disney Company in 1995 and has held several positions in technology. Prior to joining Disney, Hopbell was part of the technology team at Philips Interactive between 1987 and 1993; prior to that he produced some of the earliest interactive programs on Laser Video Discs. Philip Hopbell is also an award winning filmmaker. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his companion.
