I was educated and was promoted as an organic chemist at the ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich. For about 20 years I worked in R&D with Roche, Ciba and Givaudan. Later I moved to business management where I got specialized in Intellectual Properties Management, Licensing, Business Development and Strategy Planning. From 2002 to 2012 I worked with Prionics - a farm animal diagnostics company - where I was Head of IP Management. I built up and managed a new business unit for new DNA, RNA sampling systems. Since May 2012 I work as an independant consultant with my own company.
