I work as a Senior Researcher and Principal Investigator at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. I’m involved in engineering, economic and environmental modelling of advanced energy conversion systems that produce fuels, electricity and heat from residues & waste feedstocks. My specific technology interests include gasification, synthetic fuels, and the role of bioenergy in the ongoing energy transition. As a Principal Investigator of VTT’s energy-related growth areas, my responsibilities include: acting as a substance leader, supervision of young scientists, and planning and leading of innovation initiatives.
