Dr. Ilyas Munshi is a board certified neurosurgeon specializing in brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois where he majored in Computer Sciences. He then attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his Neurosurgery Residency at the University of Chicago, one of the most prestigious and highly regarded institutions in the country. There, in addition to learning the clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills that he needed to become a successful neurosurgeon, he was involved in the publication of numerous articles.
